Plants with DSH >3cm of Xylopia and Roupala were tagged in 2002 and 2004 in three areas of a cerrado fragment, SE Brazil (21º12’S, 47º51’W). Roupala occurred in one area and Xylopia in three. Values were equal or less than 1. The dynamics was varied spatially in small scales, and in all cases, size structure differed from stable distribution, indicating that dynamics varies over time.
