Rafael-Barreto-de-Andrade

My research interests include vertebrate ecology, population and community ecology of insects and studies on the efficiency and use of bioindicators. My current research focuses on investigating the effects of recurring fires on communities of butterflies and other insects in a transitional Cerrado-Amazon forest. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Ecology, both from Unicamp. I have a PhD in Biology from South Dakota State University, studying the effects of fire in Tropical Biodiversity.
